The Social Good Summit in New York is a two-day conference examining the impact of technology and new media on social good initiatives around the world. Held annually during United Nations General Assembly Week in September, the Social Good Summit unites a dynamic community of global leaders and grassroots activists to discuss solutions for the greatest challenges of our time.
The theme of Social Good Summit 2016, #2030NOW, asks the question, “What type of world do I want to live in by the year 2030?”
We asked the question to Indonesia climate leaders from The Climate Reality Project Indonesia and list their responses below. The Climate Reality Leadership Corps is a global network of activists committed to taking on the climate crisis and solving what is far and away the greatest challenge of our time.
I want to live in a world of peace without conflict and people care about others.

The Climate Reality Project Indonesia in collaboration with its partners regularly organized Youth for Climate Camp. Students come from all over Indonesia for specialized experiential training focusing on achieving an understanding of climate change, followed by workshops on how to engage communities in climate change actions, and a showcase of actions on the ground. Currently there are more than 1000 YFCC alumni from all over Indonesia.
We asked several of YFCC alumni the type of world that they want to live in by 2030 and received the following responses:
In 2030, I want to live in a world that everyone is connected among countries and we live our life peacefully. No more wars, no more hungers, and no more fights. We hope that our humanity is our priority.

I want to live in a world without traffic jams, because it makes breathing difficult, gets people emotional and a waste of time and energy. It is good if there are safe public transportations, comfortable and on time. I also wnt to live a a world with rivers without trash for free swimming. A world without news that focus on corruption, crime, sexual violence, as they create thoughts and feelings of discomfort

In 2030, I see a better future when everyone, every country, every region can realize 17 aspects from Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Climate Action. Because Climate Action is the core of SDGs.
