The theme of Social Good Summit 2016, #2030NOW, asks the question, “What type of world do I want to live in by the year 2030?”
We asked the question to Indonesia climate leaders from The Climate Reality Project Indonesia and list their responses below. The Climate Reality Leadership Corps is a global network of activists committed to taking on the climate crisis and solving what is far and away the greatest challenge of our time.

I want to live in a world where all people can access clean water and have a good sanitation.
In 2030 I would like to live in a world that is clean, healthy and fair
Amanda Katili Niode
I want a world of peace, love and celebrate the differences of ethnicity, religion and race. I do not want a gap between the rich and poor
When there is no longer any conflict between environmental, social and economic issues because we only have one planet and all three aspects must work creatively and powerfully together to being about the world we want to live in.
By 2030 I hope my city where I live becoming more sustainable and exciting to live in. I will see lots of open green spaces, bike lanes, pedestrians, sophisticated public transportation, green offices and houses, and the city produces way less waste
A world without racism, poverty, hunger, and war.
By the year 2030, I want to live in a world we can eat anything without getting sick, play with everyone without fear, and go anywhere without pasport.
The Climate Reality Project Indonesia in collaboration with its partners regularly organized Youth for Climate Camp. Students come from all over Indonesia for specialized experiential training focusing on achieving an understanding of climate change, followed by workshops on how to engage communities in climate change actions, and a showcase of actions on the ground. Currently there are more than 1000 YFCC alumni from all over Indonesia.
We asked several of YFCC alumni the type of world that they want to live in by 2030 and received the following responses:
In 2030, I want to live in a world that everyone is connected among countries and we live our life peacefully. No more wars, no more hungers, and no more fights. We hope that our humanity is our priority.
I want to live in a world without traffic jams, because it makes breathing difficult, gets people emotional and a waste of time and energy. It is good if there are safe public transportations, comfortable and on time. I also wnt to live a a world with rivers without trash for free swimming. A world without news that focus on corruption, crime, sexual violence, as they create thoughts and feelings of discomfort
Lena Ayu Apriliani
In 2030, I see a better future when everyone, every country, every region can realize 17 aspects from Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Climate Action. Because Climate Action is the core of SDGs.
Lathifah Al Hakimi
I want to live in the world where people respect each other, has fresh air and clean environment
The World that i want in 2030 is the world where the police and security council of the UN are not needed on this earth, because everything is running on peace and in the right way. And also UNFCCC does not need to make conference annually because all people understand how to act and behave on this beloved mother earth.
There will be big change for people in the world in relation to their awareness in implemented green lifestyle. For example: each person can calculate the total number of their own rubbish per year, so that they can estimate how many waste container they need per year.
I hope for better and well-designed cities
